RUMPELSTILTSKIN AND THE NAME GAME

Once upon a time there was a miller who told the King that he had a daughter who could spin straw into gold. The King invited her to his castle and told her to spin a room full of straw into gold. She had no clue how to spin straw into gold and began to cry. The door opened and in came a little man. He offered to do it for her if she promised to give him her first born child in return. She agreed. When the King saw all that gold, he fell in love at first sight - at first sight of the gold. He married the miller's daughter. And in due time, she gave birth to a beautiful child. Then the little man appeared to collect his debt. The queen carried on like a drama queen. The little man gave her another chance. "If at the end of three days You can guess my name, you can keep your child. If not, the child belongs to me." The queen went to Barnes and Nobel and bought a book called The Book of Names Then she called the little man every name in the book. She was quite a name dropper, but none of them was his name. The queen sent her messenger, Snoop Dogg, to scour the `hood for any new names. Snoop Dogg was one cool cat. He overheard a little man singing this song: "Today I brew, tomorrow I bake. The day after that the child I take. The queen will never win this game, for Rumpelstiltskin is my name." Now we come to happily ever after. It's hard to see how anyone could live happily ever after with this King. But the queen did with the help of Rumpelstiltskin.
